PhoneraiserAs our world continues its quest to become more energy efficient and “green” Mental Health America of Jackson County (MHAJC) encourages you to donate your old cell phones and small used printer ink cartridges to our phoneraiser fundraising efforts.Show your support by putting a box in your workplace to collect these items from your co-workers. Let your friends and neighbors know you support an organization that can benefit from these items that are no longer needed by their owners. You may call our office to pick up the items you collect, or you can drop them off at the MHAJC office on the third floor of the Community Agency building on Chestnut Street, Seymour. We in turn will recycle these phones and cartridges through an organization that pays for the recyclable parts. We save the landfills of items that will not decompose as well as provide additional funding to programs that help those in need within our community. |
